DevOps Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer, the full-time position based in Birmingham will focus on designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise DevOps capabilities across on-premise and AWS cloud environments while ensuring the efficiency and reliability of development processes.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure quality, reliability, security, and efficiency of DevOps platforms and SDLC tooling
- Maintain and improve CI/CD processes that support automated software builds, testing, releases, and deployments
- Design and automate cloud and hybrid infrastructure, including AWS services and deployment workflows
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Systems/Technology, or equivalent experience
- Hands-on experience with AWS services and cloud infrastructure
- Strong understanding of infrastructure as code (IaC) and automation practices
- Programming or scripting experience in Python, Bash/PowerShell, .NET, or Java
- Experience with containers and Kubernetes/EKS, including deployments and troubleshooting preferred
