DevOps Engineer
Job Summary
Supporting the infrastructure for software development, the full-time volunteer DevOps Engineer will manage multi-cloud environments, administer Kubernetes, and implement continuous improvement processes for systems serving minority language communities globally.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage and monitor public and private multi-cloud environments
- Administer Kubernetes and orchestrate cloud resources
- Implement disaster recovery planning and continuous improvement processes
Required qualifications:
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Experience with Kubernetes and management of virtual servers and containers
- Proficiency in Linux and Windows Administration and scripting
- Strong understanding of cloud networking and security principles
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code and automated provisioning, preferably using Ansible and Terraform
