Job Summary
To support the automation of complex DoD cybersecurity software applications, the full-time remote DevOps Engineer will research, develop, implement, and maintain DevOps processes and tools, ensuring efficient deployment and integration while occasionally working at the Hanover, MD location.
Key responsibilities
- Manage automation deployment and monitoring scripts, and implement Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI-CD) tools and processes
- Support the operation of a fully automated CI-CD pipeline and maintain networked virtual machines and containers
- Analyze real-world problems and implement solutions in accordance with corporate guidelines and DoD DevOps best practices
Required qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline
- Three years of relevant work experience preferred
- Security+ certification required within six months of hire; IAT Level II or greater preferred
- Proficiency in scripting languages for automation and administration tasks
- Experience with commercial DevOps tools and understanding of hybrid cloud design and operation
