DevOps Engineer
Job Summary
To support a growing cloud infrastructure, the full-time DevOps Engineer will design, build, and operate systems primarily on Google Cloud, ensuring security and availability while working remotely from Latin America with a minimum of four hours overlap with US Eastern hours.
Key responsibilities
- Manage infrastructure as code using Terraform across 40+ environments, ensuring reusable modules and multi-environment management
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines with tools like GitHub Actions, Helm, or Cloud Deploy to facilitate safe and frequent deployments
- Establish proactive monitoring and observability using GCP Monitoring and Grafana, and participate in on-call support
Required qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of hands-on DevOps experience with production cloud environments
- Extensive experience with Google Cloud services, including GKE, Cloud Run, and IAM
- Proficiency in Terraform for complex multi-environment setups
- Experience in scripting with Bash, Python, or Go for automation tasks
- A degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
