Job Summary
To support an enterprise cloud engineering team, the contract DevOps Engineer will architect and manage CI/CD pipelines, enhance cloud platform reliability, and enable development teams to deploy secure software, all while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Architect, build, and optimize enterprise CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and YAML
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration workflows with Terraform and Databricks Asset Bundles
- Partner with engineering leads to debug pipeline issues and improve continuous deployment maturity
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field
- 5+ years of hands-on DevOps and cloud platform experience utilizing Azure DevOps
- Extensive experience writing declarative CI/CD pipelines in YAML and scripting with Python, PowerShell, or Bash
- Strong proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform
- Proven background in version control governance and advanced Git branching workflows
