Job Summary
Supporting software development and operations teams, the remote DevOps Engineer will build and maintain automation scripts, assist with CI/CD workflows, and manage data pipelines while progressing in skills related to containerization and cloud deployments.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and document Python-based automation scripts for QA, development, and operations
- Assist with CI/CD pipeline operations in GitLab/GitHub, including testing and deployment workflows
- Support data handling and contribute to testing activities, optimizing JIRA workflows for operational efficiency
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and 0-2 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree and 0-3 years; or 8-10 years without a degree
- Proficiency in Python for automation and data workflows
- Working knowledge of Linux environments and familiarity with Git, GitHub, or GitLab workflows
- Basic understanding of SQL, RDS, and DataBricks
- Exposure to Docker or containerized compute environments
