DevOps Engineer II
Job Summary
Taking ownership of the architecture and strategy for automated deployment pipelines, the fully remote DevOps Engineer II will design scalable infrastructure solutions, lead incident response for production issues, and mentor junior engineers while driving operational excellence across the organization.
Key responsibilities
- Architect and implement CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code practices across teams
- Design resilient and secure infrastructure solutions, including disaster recovery and capacity planning
- Lead incident response and root cause analysis for critical production issues, focusing on long-term remediation
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, system administration, or infrastructure automation with a focus on designing solutions
- Demonstrated experience architecting CI/CD pipeline strategies across multiple teams or products
- Advanced proficiency with Linux/Unix operating systems and scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell
- Experience designing and provisioning cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
