DevOps Engineer II
Job Summary
Working remotely from Bulgaria, the full-time DevOps Engineer II will contribute to the edge proxy platform, build and maintain cloud infrastructure as code, and operate Kubernetes clusters while supporting CI/CD pipelines and enhancing developer experience initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in maintaining, upgrading, and extending the high-performance edge proxy platform, including automation using Go and Python
- Implement Terraform/Terragrunt modules and manage live environment configurations for AWS services and EKS clusters
- Help design and improve shared GitLab CI/CD pipeline templates while participating in on-call rotations for incident response
Required qualifications
- 2-4 years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering
- A BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience
- Hands-on experience with Terraform and Kubernetes operations, particularly with AWS services (EKS, VPC, IAM, ECR)
- Proficiency in Go or Python for building operational automation
- Experience designing or maintaining CI/CD pipelines, preferably with GitLab CI/CD
