DevOps Engineer Team Lead
Job Summary
To support an innovative technology organization, the contract-to-hire remote DevOps Engineer Team Lead will build and enhance deployment systems, enabling engineering teams to efficiently deploy and operate applications within a Kubernetes-based platform.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and enhance deployment systems for cloud-native applications and platform services
- Design and implement Kubernetes deployment strategies utilizing ArgoCD and internal tools
- Automate infrastructure, deployments, and operational workflows to improve efficiency and scalability
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Platform Engineering
- Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes administration and orchestration
- Experience implementing and managing ArgoCD for Kubernetes deployments
- Previous software engineering experience with a foundation in object-oriented programming (OOP)
- Experience designing and supporting deployment platforms and CI/CD workflows
