Job Summary
To support a federal data engineering team, the remote DevSecOps Cloud Engineer will design and maintain CI/CD pipelines, enforce security controls, and implement Zero Trust Architecture for a large-scale federal cloud platform on AWS.
Key responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain the program's CI/CD pipeline using AWS CloudFormation and GitHub, automating deployments to staging and production environments
- Implement and maintain Zero Trust Architecture across the platform, configuring IAM roles and application-layer security controls
- Integrate automated security scanning into the CI/CD pipeline to ensure code delivered to production is free of vulnerabilities
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related field
- 4+ years of experience in DevSecOps, cloud engineering, or platform engineering on AWS
- Hands-on experience with AWS CloudFormation and Infrastructure-as-Code deployments in a FedRAMP-authorized environment
- Demonstrated knowledge of Zero Trust Architecture and experience implementing it on AWS
- Knowledge of FISMA, NIST 800-53, and federal software supply chain security requirements
