DevSecOps Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking a full-time remote DevSecOps Engineer, this position will integrate security into the software development lifecycle, collaborate with engineering teams to establish secure development practices, and implement automated security testing within CI/CD pipelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Integrate security controls into the software development lifecycle and assist in identifying application security vulnerabilities
- Design and implement automated security testing within CI/CD pipelines and manage security capabilities such as SAST and container image scanning
- Evaluate applications and APIs for security weaknesses and support threat modeling for new engineering initiatives
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, application security, or related fields
- Experience with modern CI/CD systems and software delivery practices
- Knowledge of application security, API security, and Infrastructure-as-Code
- Proficiency in scripting or programming languages such as Python, Go, or JavaScript
- Familiarity with security tools and methodologies, including OWASP Top 10 and common application vulnerabilities
