DevSecOps Engineer

Job Summary

Working fully remote, the DevSecOps Engineer will design and implement secure CI/CD pipelines, develop Infrastructure as Code solutions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance cloud infrastructure and maintain security compliance for a federal program.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines while documenting processes
• Integrate security controls and automate compliance checks throughout the software development lifecycle
• Develop and manage vulnerability patching and remediation plans, collaborating with engineering teams to resolve security findings

Required qualifications

• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as GitHub Actions and AWS CloudFormation
• Experience in configuring and supporting AWS services like ECS, S3, RDS, and Lambda
• Demonstrated ability to identify, assess, and remediate cloud-security vulnerabilities
• Familiarity with federal cybersecurity requirements and ATO processes
• Experience supporting and securing Linux-based environments and working with Docker
