DevSecOps Engineer
Job Summary
Supporting a large Federal Government client, the full-time remote DevSecOps Engineer will design and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines, integrate security tools into DevOps workflows, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance cybersecurity and cloud security practices.
Key responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines throughout the software development lifecycle
- Integrate and automate security tools, controls, and testing within DevOps pipelines
- Perform and support security assessments, vulnerability management, and incident response activities
Required qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of DevSecOps experience, with at least 5 years in Cybersecurity and Cloud Security at a large Government agency
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or Information Systems
- Ability to obtain and maintain required VA background investigation/suitability
- Expertise with CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and cloud-native environments
- Experience integrating security tools into DevOps pipelines and automating security processes
