DevSecOps Engineer
Job Summary
To support a growing Veterans Affairs (VA) initiative, the full-time remote Edifecs DevSecOps Engineer will spearhead cloud migration, design automation technologies for CI/CD, and manage cloud security and compliance for VA Enterprise Cloud environments.
Key responsibilities
- Spearhead the migration to the cloud and design high-level architecture diagrams for cloud infrastructure
- Implement and manage monitoring capabilities for cloud-hosted systems to ensure performance and compliance
- Provide customer-focused support and manage permissions in the cloud service provider for various applications and services
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in cloud engineering, specifically with AWS infrastructure and services
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- Proficiency in core AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, and IAM
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like AWS CloudFormation or Terraform
- Deep hands-on experience with Edifecs and knowledge of HIPAA compliance requirements in cloud data architecture
