DevSecOps Engineer
Job Summary
To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time remote Edifecs DevSecOps Engineer will spearhead cloud migration efforts, design and manage automation technologies for CI/CD, and ensure compliance with federal policies while providing cloud support services.
Key responsibilities
- Spearhead the migration to the cloud and design high-level architecture diagrams for cloud infrastructure
- Implement and manage monitoring capabilities for cloud-hosted systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance
- Provide customer-focused support for VA Enterprise Cloud environments, including setup and configuration
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in cloud engineering, specifically with AWS infrastructure and services
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- Proficiency in AWS core services such as EC2, S3, RDS, and IAM
- Experience with CI/CD tools and practices, as well as containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance requirements in cloud data architecture
