DevSecOps Engineer with Edifecs Expertise
Job Summary
To support Veterans Affairs initiatives, the full-time Edifecs DevSecOps Engineer will manage cloud migration, design automation technologies for CI/CD, and ensure compliance with federal policies while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Spearhead the migration to cloud infrastructure and design high-level architecture diagrams
- Implement and manage monitoring capabilities for cloud-hosted systems and applications
- Provide customer-focused support for VA Enterprise Cloud environments, ensuring compliance with development and documentation requirements
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in cloud engineering, specifically with AWS infrastructure and services
- Deep hands-on experience with Edifecs and Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) transactions standards
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance requirements in cloud data architecture
