DevSecOps Integration Engineer
Job Summary
To support Veterans Affairs initiatives, the full-time remote DevSecOps Integration Engineer will spearhead cloud migration efforts, design automation technologies for CI/CD, and manage cloud security and compliance for applications hosted in AWS environments.
Key responsibilities
- Spearhead the migration to the cloud and create various architectural diagrams for cloud infrastructure
- Design, develop, and operate automation technologies for continuous integration and delivery while managing permissions in cloud applications
- Implement monitoring capabilities for cloud architecture to ensure optimal performance and compliance with federal policies
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in cloud engineering, specifically with AWS infrastructure and services
- Proficiency in core AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, and IAM
- Experience with AWS security practices, including IAM, AWS Shield, and WAF
- Strong understanding of CI/CD tools and practices, with familiarity in containerization and orchestration tools
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related technical discipline
