Job Summary
Providing senior technical leadership, the full-time remote DevSecOps Python Engineer will design and optimize CI/CD pipelines, integrate security into software delivery, and develop Python automation and services for a federal enterprise environment.
Key responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize Git-based CI/CD pipelines for Python workloads using tools like GitLab CI and GitHub Actions
- Integrate various security measures into delivery pipelines, including SAST, DAST, and container scanning
- Develop production-grade Python automation, APIs, and operational tooling while automating infrastructure provisioning using Terraform
Required qualifications
- US Citizenship required
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering, DevSecOps, or security engineering with senior technical leadership responsibilities
- Expertise in Python development, including FastAPI/Flask and REST APIs
- Strong experience with CI/CD, Git, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes/ECS, and automated security testing
