DevSecOps Security Engineer

Job Summary

To enhance cloud-native application security, the full-time DevSecOps Security Engineer will secure and govern application platforms and infrastructure, integrating security throughout the software development lifecycle while working remotely in the USA.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and maintain security controls for Kubernetes environments and CI/CD pipelines
• Develop and enforce security standards for identity and access management systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to remediate vulnerabilities and enhance secure coding practices

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
• 4-5 years of experience in Security Engineering, DevSecOps, or Cloud Security
• 1+ year of hands-on experience with Kubernetes or containerized applications
• Experience securing cloud-native applications and implementing vulnerability management programs
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and working with software development teams
