Seeking a DHS Certified Web Accessibility Tester, the full-time fully remote candidate will evaluate websites, web applications, and electronic content for compliance with Section 508 accessibility requirements using approved testing methods and tools.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct Section 508 accessibility testing of various digital platforms and content
- Apply the DHS Trusted Tester Section 508 Conformance Test Process for Web
- Document accessibility defects and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders
Required qualifications
- Current DHS Trusted Tester Version 5.0 certification or later
- At least one year of accessibility testing experience
- Basic knowledge of the Revised Section 508 Standards
- Familiarity with the DHS Trusted Tester testing methodology
- Ability to prepare accurate accessibility test documentation
