DHS Trusted Tester Level II
Job Summary
Seeking a DHS-certified Trusted Tester Level II, the full-time fully remote candidate will conduct accessibility testing, remediate electronic documents, and provide Section 508 technical assistance using the DHS Trusted Tester methodology.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct Section 508 testing of websites, web applications, and electronic content
- Evaluate and remediate Microsoft Office, Adobe PDF, and other electronic documents for accessibility compliance
- Develop accessibility test plans and provide technical guidance for correcting Section 508 defects
Required Qualifications
- Current DHS Trusted Tester Version 5.0 certification or later
- At least two years of accessibility testing experience
- Experience testing and remediating electronic documents for Section 508 conformance
- Broad knowledge of the Revised Section 508 Standards
- Ability to interpret accessibility test results and communicate remediation requirements
