Diabetes Field Access Manager

Job Summary

Acting as the primary contact for designated accounts, the full-time salaried Diabetes Field Access Manager will provide account management support to healthcare professionals, facilitate patient access to therapy, and educate stakeholders on patient services programs while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Expand advocacy within healthcare professional offices and educate staff on navigating access and payer approval processes
• Coordinate utilization of patient service platforms to support customers and patients in accessing approved therapies
• Build and execute strategic business plans to meet the needs of top accounts and optimize market access initiatives

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced healthcare/scientific degree preferred
• 10+ years in the pharmaceutical industry with experience in payer policy and patient access
• 5+ years of experience in benefit verifications and/or prior-authorization requirements
• Knowledge of CMS policies and processes, including Medicare Parts B & D
• Strong understanding of specialty product access and reimbursement processes
