Digital Analytics Engineer
Job Summary
Owning the event data ecosystem, the full-time remote Digital Analytics Engineer will manage the event taxonomy and tracking plan, ensuring data quality and governance while collaborating with marketing, product, and engineering teams.
Key responsibilities
- Audit and consolidate the current Segment inventory, establishing a governed naming convention
- Build and maintain a navigable tracking plan, deprecating events as necessary
- Document tracking standards and run a review process for event proposals and approvals
Required qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in a Data Analyst, Data Analytics, or similar role
- Experience with Segment or a similar customer data platform
- Proficiency in SQL and querying data in a cloud data warehouse
- Working knowledge of JSON Schema and JavaScript
- Familiarity with Git and CI/CD practices
