Digital Content Publisher
Job Summary
Passionate about basketball, the full-time Project Employee, Digital Content Publisher will be responsible for publishing and programming engaging content across the NBA's digital channels, including the NBA App and NBA.com, in a remote capacity for a temporary duration of up to 10 months.
Key responsibilities:
- Creating compelling storytelling through various formats, enhancing visual content with text and narrative
- Curating and producing timely news content related to the NBA, focusing on games and game-related stories
- Collaborating with the Social & Digital Content Team to develop fan-centric content across digital platforms
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field preferred
- Experience in journalism or a related field with a strong emphasis on editorial judgment and deadline management
- Familiarity with Content Management Systems, preferably WordPress and Story Teller
- Knowledge of basketball analytics and the rules of the game
- Experience building and sending push notifications, with familiarity in using Braze preferred
