Job Summary
Passionate about basketball, the full-time Project Employee, Digital Content Publisher will be responsible for publishing and programming engaging content across the NBA's digital channels, including the NBA App and NBA.com, while working remotely for a temporary duration of up to 10 months.
Key responsibilities:
- Creating compelling storytelling using various formats to enhance visual content
- Curating and producing timely news content related to the NBA, focusing on games and game-related topics
- Building and programming vertical stories and push notifications for the NBA App and NBA.com
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field preferred
- Previous experience in journalism or a related field with strong written skills
- Experience publishing within a Content Management System, preferably WordPress or StoryTeller
- Knowledge of basketball analytics and the rules of the game
- Familiarity with digital and social media trends relevant to content consumption
