Job Summary
To support the Quality Measurement & Improvement portfolio, the part-time Digital Quality Measures Lead will serve as a senior technical authority on FHIR-based digital quality measure development, mentor a team of developers, and act as the primary technical contact for clients, all while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Guide the transition from QDM-based eCQMs to FHIR-based dQMs and ensure alignment with relevant implementation guides
- Oversee the quality of work produced by subcontractors and lead the technical team in authoring FHIR-based dQMs
- Represent the organization in HL7 workgroups and maintain strategic partnerships with public agencies and institutions
Required qualifications
- Master's degree in health informatics, computer science, public health, nursing, or a related field with at least 11 years of relevant experience
- 7+ years of experience in health care quality measurement, including hands-on experience with QDM-based eCQMs and FHIR-based dQMs
- Working knowledge of FHIR resources and implementation guides pertinent to quality measurement
- Experience with federal contracts, particularly related to CMS, and familiarity with the eCQM lifecycle
- Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor junior technical staff while performing hands-on technical work
