Digital System Architect

Job Summary

To shape and define digital-logic systems for a photonic quantum computer, the full-time Senior Digital System Architect will gather high-level requirements, implement low-latency algorithms, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and translate high-level abstract requirements into concrete hardware specifications
• Devise and implement low-latency algorithms for time-critical tasks in optical quantum computing
• Collaborate with physicists and digital designers to optimize designs for performance, latency, and throughput

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or a related discipline
• 5+ years of relevant experience in digital design
• Proficiency in SystemVerilog (or VHDL) for design and simulation
• Experience with FPGAs, preferably Xilinx, and associated tooling
• Strong Python programming skills for implementing cycle-accurate models and behavioral tests
