Director of Academic Research

Job Summary

Leading all academic research activities, the full-time remote Director of Academic Research will establish ICF's research agenda, ensure research quality, and translate findings into actionable insights that advance the coaching profession.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with ICF Senior Leadership and departments to identify research needs and propose collaborative opportunities
• Maintain knowledge of industry and academic research to inform innovative study development
• Guide the Assistant Director of Academic Research and Research Specialist while advising the Vice President of Research and Data Science

Required qualifications

• PhD or master's degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology or equivalent
• Multiple peer-reviewed publications or book chapters in academic journals
• Minimum of two years of quantitative and qualitative research experience
• Experience in designing and executing rigorous qualitative and quantitative research
• Proficiency in statistical software such as R or SPSS
