Job Summary
Seeking a strategic and experienced Director of Advancement, the full-time position will manage the University's fundraising strategy, oversee donor relations, and lead a high-performing development team in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement annual and long-term fundraising strategies to meet revenue goals
- Lead initiatives for annual giving, major gifts, donor acquisition, and fundraising campaigns
- Identify and cultivate relationships with individual donors, alumni, corporations, and foundations
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree is required; Master's degree is preferred
- 8-12 years of progressive fundraising and advancement experience
- Minimum 3 years of leadership experience managing fundraising teams
- Demonstrated success in securing major gifts and achieving fundraising targets
- Strong knowledge of fundraising CRM platforms such as Blackbaud Raiser's Edge or Salesforce
