Job Summary
Seeking a strategic leader, the full-time salaried Director of Advancement will develop and execute fundraising programs to enhance philanthropic support while managing a high-performing development team in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement the University's annual and long-term fundraising strategy to achieve revenue goals
- Lead initiatives for annual giving, major gifts, donor acquisition, and fundraising campaigns
- Identify and cultivate relationships with donors, alumni, corporations, and philanthropic organizations
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree is required; Master's degree is preferred
- 8-12 years of progressive fundraising and advancement experience
- Minimum 3 years of leadership experience managing fundraising or development teams
- Demonstrated success in securing major gifts and achieving fundraising targets
- Strong knowledge of fundraising CRM platforms such as Blackbaud Raiser's Edge or Salesforce
