Director of AI and Machine Learning
Job Summary
Leading the advancement of AI capabilities, the full-time remote Director of AI and Machine Learning will provide technical direction and engineering leadership across strategic initiatives, focusing on the development and adoption of scalable AI solutions within the Research organization.
Key responsibilities
- Set and guide the AI and ML strategy and roadmap aligned with R&D and commercial priorities
- Lead advanced machine learning programs from design to production adoption
- Establish production ML architecture and drive platform choices for scalable AI capabilities
Required qualifications
- Doctorate degree with 4 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 8 years, or a Bachelor's degree with 10 years of experience in AI and machine learning
- Expertise in AI/ML engineering and technical leadership within scientific research applications
- Deep understanding of software engineering and production AI/ML system design
- Experience with data and MLOps capabilities, including lifecycle operations
- Proven ability to build and lead high-performing technical teams
