Director of AI Engineering
Job Summary
Leading a cross-functional team, the full-time salaried Director of AI Engineering will oversee the design, development, and deployment of AI-powered products while fostering innovation and responsible AI practices in a remote-eligible environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Partner with engineers, research scientists, and product managers to deliver transformative AI solutions
- Manage the design and development of AI software components, including model training and evaluation
- Establish enterprise standards for Responsible AI, ensuring compliance with ethical and regulatory frameworks
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, AI, Electrical Engineering, or related fields
- At least 8 years of experience in developing AI and ML algorithms, or 6 years with a Master's degree
- Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience managing teams
- Experience deploying scalable AI solutions on cloud platforms
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or Java for AI development
