Director of AI Engineering

Job Summary

Leading a cross-functional team, the full-time salaried Director of AI Engineering will oversee the design, development, and operation of AI-powered platforms, focusing on large-scale distributed training and fine-tuning while working in a remote-eligible environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Partner with engineers and product managers to deliver innovative AI products that enhance customer interactions
• Manage the development and operation of core systems for distributed training, ensuring efficiency and fault tolerance
• Drive the technical vision and roadmap for foundational AI systems, while fostering a culture of learning and talent development

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, AI, Electrical Engineering, or related fields with relevant experience in AI and ML technologies
• At least 3 years of people leadership experience
• Proven experience in managing large-scale ML or GPU training infrastructure on cloud platforms
• Hands-on experience with distributed training techniques and proficiency in programming languages such as Python or C++
• Strong understanding of AI ethics and compliance with regulatory standards
