Director of AI Engineering
Job Summary
Leading a cross-functional team, the full-time remote Director of AI Engineering will oversee the development and deployment of AI-powered products, manage AI software components, and establish responsible AI practices to enhance customer interactions and operational efficiency.
Key responsibilities
- Partner with engineers, research scientists, and product managers to deliver innovative AI solutions
- Oversee the design, development, and support of AI software components, ensuring high performance and scalability
- Establish enterprise standards for Responsible AI, including governance and compliance with ethical guidelines
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, AI, Electrical Engineering, or related fields with at least 8 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with at least 6 years of experience
- Minimum of 3 years of people leadership experience
- Experience in deploying scalable AI solutions on cloud platforms
- Strong foundation in AI technologies and algorithms, including experience with Python, C++, or Java
- Proven ability to drive technical vision and long-term strategy for AI systems
