Director of AI/ML Engineering

Job Summary

Leading a high-performing team, the full-time salaried Director of AI/ML Engineering will manage the technical architecture and operational performance of autonomous AI systems, while collaborating with Product Management to define product scope and build scalable solutions in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Product Management to define product scope and translate business requirements into technical designs
• Oversee the implementation of multi-agent coordination frameworks and ensure compliance with healthcare data integration standards
• Lead the operational lifecycle of AI/ML models, enforcing observability practices and regulatory compliance

Required qualifications

• 12+ years of software engineering and machine learning experience, with at least 4+ years in engineering leadership roles
• Hands-on experience with agentic AI workflows and multi-agent frameworks
• Expert-level knowledge of cloud-native AWS architectures and Infrastructure as Code
• Direct experience in overseeing model/agent lifecycle automation and observability tools
• Proven ability to communicate complex technical architectures to executive stakeholders
