Director of AI Platforms

Job Summary

Leading the enterprise AI platform strategy, the full-time remote Director of AI Platforms will manage the architecture and engineering capabilities for AI solutions, ensuring secure and scalable development and deployment across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Own the multi-year strategy and reference architecture for AI platforms, including data, machine learning, and AI-enabled business intelligence
• Establish enterprise AI architecture standards and decision frameworks for building, buying, or partnering for AI capabilities
• Drive disciplined software engineering practices, including automated testing, CI/CD, and operational reliability for AI capabilities

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
• Minimum of 6 years of management experience with responsibilities for hiring and performance management
• Experience delivering and operating cloud data and AI platforms, including tools like Snowflake, AWS, or Azure
• Demonstrated experience in taking machine learning or generative AI capabilities into production at enterprise scale
• Strong grounding in responsible AI, security, privacy, and governance in regulated environments
