Director of AI Strategy

Job Summary

Leading the organization's enterprise AI strategy, the full-time remote Director of AI Strategy will establish and operate the AI Center of Excellence while managing AI governance, adoption, and value realization initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the enterprise AI strategy, roadmap, and investment portfolio aligned with institutional priorities and measurable value
• Establish and operate the AI Center of Excellence, including governance forums and cross-functional accountability
• Lead the AI Steering Committee to prioritize investments and oversee value realization and responsible adoption of AI initiatives

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, data science, business, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered
• 8+ years of progressive experience in technology, data, or strategy roles, with significant responsibility for enterprise-wide initiatives
• 3+ years of experience leading AI, machine learning, or advanced analytics programs in a complex organization
• Working knowledge of generative AI, machine learning lifecycles, and data governance
• Proven ability to communicate complex AI opportunities and risks clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
