Director of Assessment Content

Job Summary

Leading the Assessment Content team, the full-time remote Director of Assessment Content will manage the design, development, and delivery of assessment products, collaborating closely with Product Management and overseeing a global workforce to ensure quality and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Assessment Content and Research teams to drive integrated assessment development processes
• Own the assessment roadmap, including planning, staffing, timelines, and quality assurance
• Manage a significant operating budget and make strategic decisions regarding work distribution across teams and vendors

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree in education, psychometrics, or related field preferred
• 12+ years of experience in assessment content development or related fields within the education industry
• Seven or more years of leadership experience managing diverse teams
• Deep expertise in assessment practices, including test construction and psychometric concepts
• Proven experience managing large content operations and budget oversight
