Director of Billing and Collections

Job Summary

To enhance billing operations across multiple locations, the full-time remote Director of Billing and Collections will manage billing compliance, oversee accounts receivable for insurance and self-pay accounts, and collaborate with various departments to optimize revenue cycle workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee billing and follow-up activities for all retained billing offices, ensuring compliance and operational excellence
• Collaborate with clinics and operational leaders to improve revenue cycle workflows and financial performance
• Drive strategies to enhance collections, reduce receivables, and improve the patient and provider experience

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 10+ years of experience in accounts receivable management
• 8 years of leadership experience within a healthcare setting
• 5 years of experience in medical revenue cycle management
• 3 years of executive-level relationship management experience
