Director of Billing and Collections

Job Summary

To enhance revenue cycle workflows, the full-time remote Director of Billing and Collections will manage billing and follow-up activities for insurance and self-pay accounts, ensuring compliance and operational excellence across multiple locations.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee billing compliance and activities for retained billing offices, driving improvements in revenue cycle workflows
• Collaborate with clinics and departments to optimize financial performance and enhance patient and provider experiences
• Achieve Professional Billing A/R goals while leading strategies to improve collections and reduce receivables

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or Public Administration, or equivalent experience
• 10+ years of experience in accounts receivable management
• 8 years of leadership experience
• 5 years of experience in medical revenue cycle management
• 3 years of executive-level relationship management experience
