Director of Billing and Collections

Job Summary

To enhance operational efficiency, the full-time remote Director of Billing and Collections will oversee billing and follow-up activities for retained billing offices, manage accounts receivable, ensure compliance, and collaborate with various departments to optimize revenue cycle workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Manage billing compliance and activities across the organization's geographic footprint
• Collaborate with clinics and operational leaders to improve revenue cycle workflows and financial performance
• Drive strategies to enhance collections, reduce receivables, and improve patient and provider experiences

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or Public Administration, or equivalent experience
• 10+ years of experience in accounts receivable management
• 8 years of leadership experience in a relevant field
• 5 years of experience in medical revenue cycle management
• Demonstrated experience managing complex billing processes across multiple facilities
