Director of Billing Operations

Job Summary

Leading a high-impact team, the full-time salaried Director of Billing Operations will optimize global Order-to-Cash processes, oversee customer invoicing and collections, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance financial governance and customer experiences in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor billing and collections teams, fostering a performance-driven culture
• Collaborate with Sales and Deal Desk to streamline billing workflows and resolve disputes efficiently
• Partner with Revenue Accounting to support the monthly financial close cycle and ensure compliance with revenue recognition standards

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in billing operations or financial operations, with at least 5 years in a managerial role
• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or equivalent experience; Master's or CPA preferred
• Proven experience managing offshore teams or global shared service centers
• Strong collaboration skills with Revenue Accounting and Finance teams for month-end close processes
• Hands-on leadership experience with finance system initiatives such as Salesforce or Workday
