Director of Business Capabilities

Job Summary

Leading the strategy and delivery oversight for Digital Technology business capabilities, the full-time salaried Director of Business Capabilities will align enterprise priorities with measurable outcomes while managing cross-functional initiatives and vendor relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Develops and implements the Business Capabilities strategy, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and customer needs
• Provides oversight for complex initiatives, managing scope, dependencies, risks, and deliverables
• Assists in financial planning and vendor management, ensuring effective governance and resource allocation

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with 10+ years of experience in health insurance operations, or equivalent experience with an associate degree or high school equivalency
• Proven experience in leading cross-functional initiatives and managing vendor relationships in a matrixed environment
• Strong knowledge of health-plan platforms such as Epic or similar claims systems
• Demonstrated ability to translate enterprise strategy into actionable capability roadmaps and measurable outcomes
• Excellent executive communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and influence decision-making
