Director of Business Optimization

Job Summary

Providing strategic leadership in a full-time remote capacity, the Director of Business Optimization will manage operations and resourcing for the department, driving continuous process improvement and optimizing organizational performance in a complex cross-functional environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee cross-functional activities and initiatives, delivering strategic insights and recommendations to enhance process improvement and compliance
• Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement strategic business plans, ensuring alignment with organizational goals
• Provide administrative oversight, including staffing, budgeting, and long-term planning, while fostering talent development and retention

Required qualifications

• Life science graduate or healthcare-related qualification with extensive pharmacovigilance experience
• Demonstrated leadership experience in pharmacovigilance within a service provider environment
• Proven expertise in process optimization and implementation management
• Advanced project management skills and proficiency in process improvement methodologies
• Strong understanding of clinical trial practices, regulatory guidelines, and pharmacovigilance technology
