Job Summary

Serving as a strategic business partner and Chief of Staff, the full-time Director of Business Strategy Operations will oversee workforce planning, financial stewardship, and operational governance for Global Clinical Development Operations, working remotely to drive alignment and continuous improvement across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Lead operational governance and serve as Chief of Staff to the GCDO leadership team, facilitating meetings and tracking strategic initiatives
• Manage multi-year workforce planning and resource data stewardship, ensuring data integrity and alignment with clinical study pipeline requirements
• Oversee budget management and financial stewardship, partnering with finance to optimize operating budgets and track financial performance

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a Life Sciences discipline or related business/scientific field; advanced degree preferred
• Extensive experience in biopharmaceutical or life sciences industry, particularly in drug development and R&D business operations
• Proven track record in workforce planning, capacity modeling, and budget management
• Experience in business development due diligence and leading post-transaction integrations
• High emotional intelligence and executive presence, with the ability to influence senior leaders effectively
