Director of Cardiovascular Communications

Job Summary

To support the cardiovascular portfolio, the full-time remote Director of Cardiovascular Communications will independently develop and execute global communications strategies for Repatha and future product launches, while providing strategic counsel and managing cross-functional collaborations.

Key responsibilities

• Independently lead the strategy and execution of global and U.S. communications for assigned cardiovascular priorities
• Develop integrated, insight-led plans that connect scientific, business, and reputation objectives across various communication channels
• Serve as a strategic communications counselor to business partners, providing sound judgment and clear recommendations on opportunities and risks

Required qualifications

• Doctorate degree and 4 years of communications or public relations experience, or a Master's degree and 7 years, or a Bachelor's degree and 9 years of experience
• Ten or more years of communications, public relations, corporate affairs, or related experience
• Substantial biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or healthcare communications experience
• Proven track record of independently leading complex, high-visibility communications work in a matrixed environment
• Ability to translate complex scientific, clinical, and business information into clear, compelling communications for multiple audiences
