Job Summary
Leading a team responsible for claims applications on Microsoft Azure, the full-time salaried Director of Claims Applications will design and implement technology solutions to enhance healthcare payor processes while ensuring cross-functional collaboration and adherence to industry standards in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Own and govern the Claims Custom Solutions portfolio, managing solution intake and lifecycle for claims-related applications
- Drive AI-enabled claims automation initiatives and establish KPIs to improve processing efficiency and operational costs
- Lead a team of engineers in developing cloud-native applications, ensuring compliance with Azure architecture and quality assurance standards
Required qualifications
- At least 8 years of IT applications development experience in the managed care industry, with 3 years in a leadership role
- Advanced experience with Microsoft Azure services and AI-assisted development using Visual Studio and GitHub Copilot
- Expertise in leading quality assurance automation strategies and implementing testing frameworks
- Health care payor industry experience, particularly with Medicare/Medicaid operations
- Proven ability to build strategic relationships and influence outcomes across executive leadership
