Director of Client Platform Engineering

Job Summary

Leading global endpoint engineering and management, the full-time remote Director of Client Platform Engineering will drive strategy, lifecycle, and security posture for thousands of endpoints while collaborating closely with Information Security to enforce security policies and leverage AI for operational automation.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute global hardware, OS, and endpoint management strategy across diverse ecosystems to enhance employee experience and security
• Establish and enforce robust endpoint security baselines and zero-trust access controls in partnership with the Information Security team
• Leverage AI and automation to streamline device onboarding, configuration enforcement, and ticket resolution for endpoint-related issues

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of enterprise IT leadership experience, including 4+ years in global client platform engineering or endpoint management
• Experience managing diverse fleet architectures at scale, specifically 25,000+ endpoints across multiple operating systems
• 5+ years of experience with enterprise MDM/UEM platforms, particularly Jamf Pro and Microsoft Intune
• Proven track record of collaborating with Security teams to meet compliance and patching SLAs
• Expertise in zero-touch deployment models and familiarity with regulatory compliance frameworks
