Director of Clinical Informatics

Job Summary

Providing strategic and operational leadership, the full-time salaried Director of Clinical Informatics will oversee the integration of informatics into quality and operational improvement initiatives, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of clinical data while fostering relationships with clinical and executive leadership in a hybrid onsite/remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the strategic vision for informatics integration into quality and operational processes
• Oversee the design and implementation of enterprise-wide reporting frameworks and analytics infrastructure
• Cultivate relationships with clinical, operational, IT, and executive leaders to align informatics initiatives with institutional priorities

Required qualifications

• Master's degree required; Doctorate preferred
• Ten years of experience with structured databases, programming, or system analysis, including five years in a supervisory role
• Experience in healthcare information systems or related field preferred
• Current experience with CMS reporting metrics is ideal
• Preferred certification in Healthcare Quality or Health Informatics
