Job Summary
Providing strategic and operational leadership for global Phase 3 development, the remote Director of Clinical Operations will manage complex late-stage studies, ensuring accountability for study strategy, execution, quality, budget, and delivery while overseeing and developing Clinical Operations professionals.
Key responsibilities
- Provide strategic oversight and operational leadership for global Phase 3 studies and related development activities
- Directly manage and develop Clinical Operations staff, including hiring, performance management, and team development
- Lead multidisciplinary study teams and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal SOPs
Required qualifications
- 12-15+ years of clinical operations experience within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree (MS, MPH, PharmD, PhD) preferred
- Significant experience leading global late-phase (Phase 3) studies
- Proven ability to lead complex cross-functional teams and influence at senior leadership levels
- Strong expertise in CRO oversight and global regulatory environments
